Strength & Honour 2 Review
Monday, 18 January 2010 16:33

"How close does Strength and Honour 2 come to beating Rome: Total War?" - From the heading of Wargamer's recent review of Strength & Honour 2:

"Strength & Honour 2 is a great game which should please History fans interested in this period of the Ancient World (you can chose a small isolated nation and see how history happens again). Wargamers who seek a true challenge from the AI and fans of turn-based strategy who don’t mind basic graphics will also enjoy it."

"The game combines a challenging strategy map (with huge distances to cross) and an excellent battle engine with unforgiving AI generals. Now, if the game had the strategy map of, say, Rome: Total War, and some better graphics on the battlefields, I bet it would be on top of sales all around the world. Anyway, this game has so much to offer that it will be my main game for 2010 and I can only recommend it."

- Pascal Giovannini from www.wargamer.com
